What ADANA Is About
ADANA (Association for the Rights of Abandoned Animals) is an dog rescue charity on the Costa del Sol run by volunteers. Our aims are to promote love and affection for dogs, to provide facilities for the shelter and care of abandoned, sick and injured dogs, while seeking new homes for them and to assist the local authorities with such animals.
ADANA never puts down a healthy animal.
ADANA operates a dog shelter in the Estepona campo on property leased by the local government and run by ADANA employees and volunteers.
Since 2018, ADANA has found forever homes for over 1000 abandoned dogs.
We also have a charity shop in Estepona.
All events and stalls are organised and run by volunteers.
We are open to the public every day from 10:00 until 13:30.
Please make an appointment before coming to the shelter.
Appointment times are 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.
