Castle art exhibition raises funds for ADANA

ADANA volunteers enjoyed a day out in the sun at Duquesa Castle and raised over 1800 euros. The successful fundraising event took the form of an art exhibition with local artists exhibiting their works for sale with a percentage of the sale going to ADANA.

The entrance fee included a glass of cava and around a hundred people enjoyed looking at the paintings and other craft objects. Canapes and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments were available thanks to the skilful organising and hard work of ADANA Board members Reg Winkworth and Susie Brown.

Councillor Dean Shelton of Manilva Council attended and pronounced the event to have been a great success. ADANA Treasurer Reg thanked Dean and his fellow Councillors for their continued support of ADANA and its work for the abandoned dogs of Estepona and surrounding areas.
