Councillors and TV crew visit ADANA

For the first time in many years, ADANA was honoured to receive a visit from two members of the ruling Partido Popular party in Estepona, Councillors Susana Casano and Adrian Trujillo, accompanied by a tv crew. The Councillors had come to inspect the renovations they and ADANA had carried out at the perrera.

In the absence of President Mary Page they were welcomed by Vice-President Maria Cawsey and Treasurer Reg Winkworth. Susana, whose portfolio as Councillor includes responsibility for ADANA, said she was impressed with the work and care shown to the dogs by volunteers and staff. She pledged further help to enable ADANA to have all the facilities it requires in order to qualify for the necessary licenses.

After being shown around the kennels and meeting the dogs, Susana was invited to cut the red ribbon and officially declare the new facilities 'open'.
