ADANA dogs enjoy a day out by the sea

We are always looking for ways to find new homes for their unwanted and abandoned dogs and ADANA Volunteer Shellie Outram came up with a new idea for taking our dogs out to meet the public, to add to the opportunity people have of visiting the kennels in the Parque de los Pedregales and seeing the dogs there.

Shellie and a team of ADANA Volunteers took ADANA dogs Myrtle, Fido, Rosco and Luke for a stroll along the sea front and then to Fathoms Bar Sabinillas where they were seen and admired by many people shopping or out for a stroll.

"The dogs thoroughly enjoyed their day out and all the attention they received', said Shellie. 'It's another way of raising public awareness of the plight of these abandoned animals and helping them find 'forever' homes."

Shellie thanked ADANA Volunteers Sandra, Susie and Heidi who helped with the dogs and also thanked Fathoms Bar for hosting the event and helping raise muh-needed funds for ADANA.

Shellie and her team will be taking ADANA dogs to Fathoms Bar in Sabinillas the first Friday of each month from 11.30 to 13.30.
