The Longmans sisters are organising an event in aid of ADANA at 1pm on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2012 in Manilva Square near their bookshop.

The price will be €8 for Hot Pot – either meat or vegetable – plus apple pie and cream. Please buy your tickets and order your menu choice in advance as soon as possible at the bookshop or telephone on 952 800 975 or 617 943 488.

On Saturday 24 March The King's Bruton Big Band will give a concert for ADANA in the Instituto Monteroso in Estepona. The band last visited 4 years ago and their concert was a complete sell out.

We need volunteers to help with the bar and with setting up the hall. ADANA Christmas Fair breaks previous records!!

The annual ADANA Christmas Fair was held on 18 December 2011 as usual at the Palacio de Congresos, Estepona and this year broke all records, earning a record amount for the upkeep of the Pedregales Kennels and the two hundred dogs cared for by the Association.

Paul Agius will be playing 80 hands of bridge in 24 hours in the BridgeClubLive sponsored BRIDGE MARATHON to raise funds for ADANA. You can sponsor him and raise much needed funds for ADANA by clicking the Donate button below.

Paella Lunch at Plaza Manilva, Estepona (outside Longmans bookshop) on Friday 9th September at 13.30. Paella, salad and a glass of sangria for €5!

More than 80 people attended the event which raised €733. Many thanks to Mari Pepa Ortiz and the ladies of the Alzheimer's Society who provided the food. Thanks to Hermione, Sonia, Tim, Sean and other helpers. Thanks also to Jane Baldwin who raised well over 200 euros on the raffle alone.

Each year ADANA celebrates summer with a fabulous fundraising dinner party in a private garden in Estepona and this year was no exception.

Our choice of theme this year was a Roman Night with an all authentic Ancient Roman Menu which was greatly enjoyed by the many guests. Guests arrived appropriately dressed as Roman centurions and slaves - there was even a glamorous Cleopatra! Drinks and Roman burgers were served beside the pool followed by dinner by candlelight.

The XXIst annual ADANA dog show was held in the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona.

This year we had a new date and some new classes. The agility and obedience classes were adapted so that more novices or complete new comers can participate. The new classes emphasise the relationship between owner and dog and responsible care for your pet when out together in public.
