On Thursday, 12th August 2010 from 10.30am to 12noon there was a get-together for coffee and snacks at Bar Granada, El Pilar.  The bar owner, Sebastian, is an ADANA supporter and has a golden Labrador that came from our kennels.  Some of the ADANA committee were on hand to give information and explain what ADANA is doing.  We hope that this will become a monthly event and focal point for ADANA supporters living in the eastern side of Estepona.

Many of you are already supporting ADANA by taking goods to the shop, contributing to the collecting boxes that are placed around the area, rescuing abandoned dogs and taking them to the kennels and directly feeding and helping the many wild cats that live around our urbanizations.  There may be some people who would like to help more, but don't know how to offer their services.

By establishing a monthly meeting point I hope that we can work together to maximize our efforts for abandoned animals in our area.

Bar Granada is situated at the back of the Notary building, opposite De' Medici restaurant in Calle Sabinillas in El Pilar. Coming from the main road take the El Pilar/Benavista turning and immediately after the Golf City golf shop turn off right to park on the spare land. Bar Granada is situated behind Golf City in the back street parallel to the main road.

Thanks to all those who attended the first "East of Estepona" coffee morning.

We raised 176.60 euros and donated 20 euros of it to Estepona Cats.

Next coffee morning Friday, 10th September 10.30-12.00.

We're thinking of brunch in October - bring all the menfolk along!
