Bobo arrived at Adana in November 2016 when he about 2 months old. He and his brothers, Tonto and Lelo, were all adopted when they were gorgeous young puppies, but unfortunately Bobo was returned to Adana after spending a year with his family. His family told us that he is a very good dog and really good with children, but as he could jump their fence they felt they could no longer keep him. This handsome well-behaved boy is now looking for his forever home again and doesn’t seem to understand why he was brought back to the shelter. He is happy to receive cuddles and attention but doesn’t go looking for it, maybe because he needs to learn to trust again…. He gets on well with other dogs and walks so well on the lead that there really doesn’t seem to be much that he needs to be taught…except that he is worth being loved forever. And once he knows that, he will be the perfect family member.

Update 12/02/18
Today Bobo and his pen mate Messi went on an outing to the town of Estepona. This was Bobo´s first time out of the shelter since being returned by his previous owner a month ago. It was obvious that he was comfortable travelling in a car. He jumped right in, immediately lay down and was completely relaxed the entire journey. Upon arriving and getting out of the car, he was happy to explore all the new smells. He was very aware of what was going on in these new surroundings but not stressed by any of it. He was very happy to greet a 4-month-old puppy in the park and any other dog we came across. He showed some interest in getting closer to the cats that we passed but accepted that it wasn’t going to happen and carried on walking. We think that he still feels a bit lost and sad about being left at the shelter, so it was so nice for him to get out and have some special time for him. He was such a good boy the entire time and even gave us a kiss at the end as if to say ‘Thank you for taking me out… if only for a couple of hours’.
